The delegation of the Camarines Sur province to the 2003 Palarong Bicol which will be held in Daet, Camarines Norte from February 17-22, are prepared to defend their championship crown, according to Camarines Sur Assistant Division Superintendent Ariston Villareal.
Camarines Sur who almost bowed to Naga City in the overall championships
crown, has been training hard in all the games events. This year, as in the past years, Villareal said that the provinces' delegetion is complete. He admitted though that they are giving much attention in athletics and swimming, the sports events where Camarines Sur gets most of their medals.
Assistant Division Superintendent Villareal believes that there is no reason why Camarines Sur would not get this year's championship again. He said that aside from appropriate training, their athletes eat nutritious foods and have good accommodation. They are also giving the right vitamins for increased vitality and stamina of their athletes.
On top of these, this year, the public officials, athletes and those from the Department of Education and have good understanding and working relationships.
