Calabanga SK Federation President Out on Bail

CALABANGA, CAMARINES SUR - Calabanga Sangguniang Kabataan Municipal Federation President John Salazar has already been released from confinement after he posted a P50,000.00 bond for his temporary liberty.

This was an nounced by Calabanga Chief of Police Lorenzo Baylon. Salazar, 18 years old, was arrested in a local Karaoke bar in Magarao town, after the police officers allegedly got in his possession an unlicensed firearm.

Police Chief Lorenzo clarified that the case for illegal possession of firearm earlier filed against the suspect will push through despite the filing of a bond by Salazar.

Since his arrest, Salazar has opted to keep silent on his case, leaving his case to be decided by the court.

Salazar by virtue of his being an SK municipal federation president also sits as ex-officio member of the Sangguniang Bayan of Calabanga, Camarines Sur.
